In Witness Protection. Secretive. Sarcastic. Librarian. Single. Forks. This is Chandler Kinsley, and she has a secret that she intends to keep. You see, that's not even her real name that you just read; Her actual name is Chance Killian, and she's been in the Witness Protection Program ever since the murder of her two FBI agent parents left her an orphan. With their killer still out on the loose, Chandler and her uncle took on new identities and moved to the small town of Forks together. Her old life has been left behind, though it wasn't by her own choice. Now she simply tells people that her parents were killed in a car wreck, and that she used to live in the Big Apple, New York City. Chandler is very secretive, just because keeping her secret could mean the difference between life and death for her. She can come off as a bit cold and is definitely a sarcastic girl, but both are her own personal defense mechanisms to keep others away. She has some physical defenses too, though: She's extremely skilled in archery and learned many self-defense moves from her parents before their passings. When it comes to friends, she's bound to keep them at a distance for awhile, but she needs someone to break past her walls and convince her that she's, well, safe. |

College Student / Teacher's Aid. Curious. Stubborn. Single. Forks. This is the sweet and clumsy Clare "Clarebear" Hadley. She just recently moved to Forks with her mom after her parents split, and the drama that came with the divorce, plus her most recent relationship, caused her to develop some trust issues. The one serious boyfriend she ever had only wanted one thing from her, and once he got that, their relationship changed drastically. He became verbally, and eventually even physically, abusive towards her. It wasn't until her mom found out and forced her to end the relationship that she broke up with him. This and watching her parents' marriage fall apart caused Clare to build a wall around herself, a safe haven. She's quiet when people first meet her because of this, but once you break her out of her shell, it's almost impossible to get her to shut up and stop asking questions. A lot of the time she keeps her own emotions bottled up until she reaches the boiling point, though she luckily has yet to actually explode on anyone. Right now she's taking college classes in Seattle and helping out in a second grade classroom at the elementary school to gain experience to eventually become a teacher herself. |

Vegetarian Vampire. Protective. High School Student. Loner. Musician. Single. Forks. Meet Mister Kale Carter, the lonely veggie vampire, though he'll never admit to being lonely. Kale is technically just over 100 years old, though his appearance definitely doesn't hint to that. He just recently arrived in Forks for, yet another, fresh start. He's been on his own ever since he turned his former best friend, Vaida, against her will. Needless to say, she wasn't happy about that. She attacked Kale before leaving him, now wandering somewhere probably far away. This has Kale feeling like he's better off on his own, so he's keeping to himself, posing as a high school student in Forks and trying to regain even the slightest bit of normalcy to his life. He's living in a cozy loft in the rainy town, spending most of his time inside with his guitar and his journal. When he'd been human, Kale had wanted to be a writer, though he abandoned that dream after becoming a vampire. Now he keeps his music and his writings to himself, only really going out in the open when he needs to hunt. When he does have people in his life that he cares about, Kale becomes very protective, to the point of it almost being annoying. He's always trying to be a hero, even to those that he doesn't know. It's the only thing that gives his immortal life reason for now. |

Artistic. High School Student. Foster Kid. Reserved. Single [Reserved]. Forks. Luke has spent most of his life going from foster home to foster home, but he may have finally found one that he wants to stick with until he can leave the system. He's been living with the Cameron family for a few months now, and he actually feels like he's, well, part of a family. He's very attached to his two foster siblings, the seven year old twins Marty and Megan. While he's open with his family, he isn't with anyone else. Luke is very quiet and reserved, preferring to keep his nose buried in his sketch book and keep to himself. He'll speak when he's spoken to, but isn't usually one to start conversation with anyone, mainly because he's so used to having to move around when he was younger. He's a total sweetheart when you do get him to open up, though. Most of the time he just keeps to himself, observing those around him but not typically interacting. He's grown up so anti-social that he's not sure he even knows how to talk to people anymore without seeming ridiculous and, well, awkward. |
---- coming soon?![atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 500px; height: 470px; background-color: ededed; border-top: 10px solid #348781; border-bottom: 10px solid #348781;]Lucas Spencer Hollis. Twenty Two. Human. Logical. Psychology Professor. Braniac. Worrisome. Single [Reserved]. Forks. WIP. This awkward, gangly fellow right here is Lucas Hollis, a professor of psychology at the university in Seattle. He's a sweet guy, he really is, but he's struggling. He's been struggling ever since he lost his dad when he was ten years old. Things went downhill for this young man after that: his mother was diagnosed with Dementia and, after nearly burning down the house with her and his little sister inside, was later admitted to a home for spcial care. He took in his sister, Nelly, at the time, since she was only fourteen and had nowhere else to go. Things seemed to settle down for awhile, until most recently, when his sister's diagnosis came in. Lucas has been something of a walking mess ever since, sort of just going through life's motions. He goes to class, works on lesson plans, and doesn't talk much, even to his sister. He's terrified of losing more family, especially the person that he's grown closest to. When Lucas does talk, though, it's usually very fast and hard to understand. He tends to ramble, a lot. This guy is a total genius, too. He has a photographic memory and everything that he reads, which is a lot, he ends up remembering and learning. He really is kind once you get to know him, and he cares very deeply about those who get that chance, so deeply that he gets to the point of being overprotective over them.

This little bouncy sweetheart is Penelope Hollis, aka Nelly. She is the eternal optimist, always looking for silver linings in dark clouds and trying to find a brighter side to dreary situations. She's very caring, tending to try and take care of others more than she does herself. She's been living with her older brother ever since she was fourteen, and a part of her still carries around the blame for the fire that was the last straw to having their mom admitted. Nelly herself was recently diagnosed with kidney failure, and is still awaiting news about a transplant during her dialysis sessions. She spends a lot of her free time volunteering in the hospital, too, even when she isn't recieving treatment. She likes trying to cheer the patients up, usually bringing them food or providing company. Nelly's very friendly, but comes with her own quirks, like hanging upside down or skipping wherever she goes. She's still optimistic, despite her diagnosis; She just wants to live her life as normally as possible, and do whatever she can to make it memorable. She refuses to let her diagnosis get her down, and is doing her best to keep her and her brother's spirits up until the day she, hopefully, gets her donor. |
